Eight buffaloes died after being struck by lightning
Eight buffaloes have died on the spot after being electrocuted in the Lake Nakuru wildlife park in Kenya.
The incident occurred after the buffaloes came into contact with high-powered electric cables that were hanging down.
officials of the Kenya Wildlife Service Agency who confirmed the tragedy have explained that the incident was caused by the breaking and falling of stakes that were carrying electrical cables, due to the heavy rain that is falling in the area.

The organization has taken precautions and replaced the barriers that were made of wood with steel.
There have been many cases of wild animals dying from electrocution in the area, and the KWS organization has been collaborating with the country's electricity company to deal with the situation
