Yanga Club president, Eng. Hersi Said has said that the issue of player registration requires great understanding, otherwise as a club leader you may end up registering poor players who will not help you achieve the team's goals.
Hersi said this while talking about his decision to register players himself instead of sending people.
"Registration is an art, you must know why you are doing the registration In short, you can't keep your good players all the time, so you have to create a good environment to attract other good players. So I took the decision to manage the registration process.
"When you are a leader, you must have a great vision and a great understanding of football you should know the player is at the peak of his quality, he is having a hard time getting used to the environment, he is tired etc. If you don't understand football then you will find yourself signing carelessly or firing players with emotion.
"I decided to enter the registration myself to go directly to see the players, build trust and know the details about the players I need instead of sending someone who would do differently than I want it to be," said Hersi Said
