The helicopter carrying the president of Iran crashed
The helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi of Iran has crashed in the west of the country today and rescue forces have been sent to search for it.
this has been announced by Iran's national television a short time ago, quoting the country's interior minister, Ahmed Vahidi.

the minister has said that bad weather and heavy fog are the cause of the accident and that it may take time for the rescue forces to reach the scene of the tragedy.
so far there is still no information about the condition of president Ebhahim who was on a trip together with the minister of foreign affairs and the governor of the province of Iran called East Azerbaijan.
it is reported that the accident happened near the city of Jolfa, which is neighboring the nation of Azerbaijan and about 600 kilometers away from the capital of Iran, Tehran.
President Ebrahim was in Azerbaijan earlier today to inaugurate a hydroelectric dam together with the country's president Ilham Aliyev.
