Coacher Benchikha
The head coach of Simba, Abdelhak Benchikha is said to have finished with the club after giving it the Union Cup and the Board of Directors has accepted the coach's decision to leave.
Benchikha was introduced to Simba on November 28 last year replacing Roberto Oliveira 'Robertinho' who was fired after the team lost 5-1 to Yanga in Kariakoo Dabi on November 5.
a reliable source from within Simba has told Mwanaspoti that, before the final game of the Union Cup, the coach spoke to the players that this is his last game, they should do everything possible to honor him.
"The coach has already said goodbye to the players and has thanked them for honoring him by winning the Union title under him, while congratulating them for doing what he wanted them to do," said the source and added;
"The coacher has said that he had a good time in Simba and he is thankful that he leaves with the honor of the title after his players fought and followed his instructions correctly and finally won the title.
He wished them all the best in the fight for the remaining league matches."
in the final game of the Union Cup, in which Simba beat Azam with a score of 1-0, the leaders of Msimbazi who attended were the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Simba, Salim Abdallah 'Try Again' and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Imani Kajula.
apart from winning the title, Simba won all the championship awards including the Best Player which went to Fabrice Ngoma, the Best Goalkeeper which was carried by Ayoub Lakred and the Star of the Game was Saido Ntivazonkiza.
The coacher who left USM Alger in his native Algeria after giving it the championship of the African Confederation Cup and Super Cup landed in Dar es Salaam on the night of November 28.
